Vision Statement

Our vision is for every person leaving prison to have the opportunity to rebuild their life, reconnect with their community, and move forward with hope, dignity and purpose.

New Vision Community Chaplaincy seeks to create a future where no one leaves prison to face the challenges of resettlement alone. Through trusted relationships, compassionate mentoring and practical support, we will provide a bridge between prison and community, helping individuals make positive and lasting changes in their lives.

As a multi-faith organisation, we envision communities where people of all faiths and none are treated with dignity, understood within their cultural and spiritual context, and supported to develop positive identities, relationships and networks.

By working in partnership with prison chaplaincies, probation, local services and diverse faith communities, we aim to strengthen the foundations for successful resettlement, reduce the risk of reoffending, and enable prison leavers to become confident, independent and positive contributors to their families and communities.

Our ultimate vision is to see lives transformed, cycles of reoffending broken, and stronger, safer and more inclusive communities across the Merseyside region and beyond.
