New Horizons

New Horizons will be taking place on 27th June 2026 at Archbishop Beck School,

This event is a partnership between the chaplaincies of HMP Altcourse (Sodexo), HMP Liverpool, Archbishop Beck Catholic College, Merseyside Community Chaplaincy, Together Liverpool, and the Faith in the City Manifesto.

The New Horizon Conference has grown beyond the prison setting and is now taking place within the local community — a meaningful step that reflects our continued commitment to building stronger partnerships and raising awareness around resettlement and rehabilitative culture.
We are delighted to be hosted by Archbishop Beck Catholic College, who have generously offered their excellent facilities, including ample parking, spacious accommodation for attendees, and support with catering.

The conference will provide a valuable opportunity to:

Share best practice
Strengthen collaborative approaches to supporting individuals on their resettlement journey

The focus of this year’s event is hope, restoration, and new beginnings, highlighting how Merseyside’s diverse faith communities, organisations, and civic leaders support prison leavers. It is a wonderful opportunity to bring together people of all faiths and none, build support networks, strengthen community relations, and demonstrate what community truly means.
